Our client’s client was developing new business and communication strategies in the mainstream lager category, within which it needed a more robust understanding of consumer lager drinking behaviour and its current brand positioning in order to identify opportunities to grow the brand and influence the expected consolidation of the category.

Having developed a research programme with lager drinkers across the UK, Decision Architects built market models to predict likely patterns of switching and purchase intention as well as gauging the strength of brand affinity. In partnership with our agency client, Decision Architects ran strategy workshops to unearth and ‘hone’ meaningful insight that could help address ‘where to play’ and ‘how to play’ questions.

THEIR CLIENT: INTERNATIONAL HEALTHCARE BUSINESS

Our client had been told to ‘beef up’ its research capabilities if it was to retain a key client.  The consultancy chose to partner with Decision Architects and communicated this to its client, to ensure that any new primary research incorporated ‘best practice’ in terms of sample and survey design and that the data output would enable them to address project objectives.

Decision Architects provided research support: we were involved in the day-to-day development of the survey and setup of the global fieldwork ensuring expert market research input was leveraged as early as possible in the process, working alongside both the consultancy and the end client.

We subsequently continued to work with this client on three further global studies.

THEIR CLIENT: GLOBAL SAVINGS AND INVESTMENT BUSINESS

Our client wanted to run a survey with IFAs (independent financial advisers) to explore their status, product offer and business models. This would allow their end client to create a simple segmentation to improve the targeting of marketing communications and create more timely interactions with IFAs using segment specific processes.

Decision Architects were actively engaged in the development of the survey by helping to design and manage the survey – ensuring it comprehensively met the client’s research objectives.

Decision Architects then prepared the data in such a way as to enable our client to generate the desired outputs nimbly and offered an on-going support function to allow them to fully utilise various data management tools.
